Hey there.

I’m Andrea Fazzini and I’m so excited you’re here. I was born in San Jose, Costa Rica and grew up in a teeny, tiny town in the middle of Central Florida (nothing like Miami). I was raised in a house of rowdy boys, and learned how to hold my own pretty early on as the youngest of four—and the only girl!

I found a love for dance early in my life and trained rigorously in classical ballet through college. After graduating, my only real desire was to see the world! So I backpacked through Europe, slept in trains, and took any odd jobs that would support my wanderlust which even lead me as far as Asia.

Fate finally intervened with the opportunity to land in Hawaii where I fell in love with the man who eventually became my husband. It was in Hawaii that I was signed by my first agency and booked my first job with Nike the very next day!

After a couple years of building a name in smaller markets, we received a job offer that relocated my husband and I to NYC.

I remember thinking, but aren’t these the things that make me stand out and make me unique?!

Now, let’s be honest I was daunted by the larger market. I knew that I could be successful in the smaller markets, but this was NYC—the major leagues of my industry! In fact, I was told from my smaller market agents that I’d likely never book a single job in NYC.

I remember early on in my career being told I was “too short,” my “hair was too long,” my “thighs were too athletic” (in other words big), my “hair line was too low on my forehead,” my nose was “too big,” the list goes on and on. Most of these comments made me laugh.

I remember thinking, but aren’t these the things that make me stand out and make me unique?! I was proud of those things and not soon after, an industry connection from home sent me to a well-known scout, who sent me to a well known hair stylist, who sent me to my first agency here in NYC, where I was signed on the spot and started consistently working.

I landed my first major hair campaign that year, and since then I have had the opportunity to work on all sorts of dreams jobs all over the world. From shooting with Ellen von Unwerth and Patrick DeMarchelier, to landing in the pages of Vogue or walking in NYFW, to International Print Campaigns and Commercials—it’s all been a dream come true.

It truly is the genuine kindness of mentors and a bunch of hard work that got me here.

In 2014 my husband and I welcomed our first daughter Izetta and shortly after our sweet little Elena in 2016. It is these two little girls who now make my world go round. And even though balancing motherhood with my full-time career here in NYC can be quite the circus some days, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Most days you can find me with my girls adventuring all over Manhattan on the hunt for the best playground or treat, or even having the girls accompanying me on set for shoots or commercials. Motherhood is by far the most humbling, and rewarding experience of my life. Little sleep, lots of laughs, and for me it’s the perfect kinda chaos.

It’s a wild ride, thanks for joining along.
